In my spooky weekend I went to spookers. Which is all the way in Kingseat in Karaka! First we had a little break in the party room. There was a spooky dummy with blood all over it! Then it was time for the disturbia. We had to put on 3D glasses so we could see the awesome 3D pictures. We went into another room with starburlights and a black and white chess floor and wall and there was a baby dummy covered in blood the worst part was a dummy clown rocking on a rocking chair.At the end their was this really cool tunnel with the wall going round and round and the platform that we were standing on was moving and I was trying to keep my balance!
THE BOTANICAL GARDENS
On Thursday 5b went to the Botanical Gardens we went with parent helpers so we could split in to 2 groups (group 1 and group 3.)We also went with 5d. We took a bus there and when we got off, we had morning tea in a little court with a sun shade and pot plants all around the court room. When it was time for the tour we were ready with our hats, sunscreen, water bottles and raincoats. The best part was with a microscope, there were two sides on it and you had to put your eye on one of the sides. You could look close up at things such as trees and plants. We also saw the Puriri tree, Kowhai tree, Totara tree, and the Kauri tree. Then we had lunch and it was time for group 3 to go on their tour while we went on our self tour. It was a native tree trail with signs on the track while we had a question sheet that matched the answers on the signs. When we finished the self tour group 3 finished their tour and we hopped back on the bus and got back to school safely.
Ashley term two holiday recount. My awesome holiday! In my awesome holiday I had my passport photo taken because I might be going to Samoa! I also went to Adya's birthday (my bff.) We had a talent show where we had to dance to a song! It was really funny because Tyla (a friend from school) faked that she fainted while me and Adya did our dance. I also went to Hokianga which is up north and we have a cat there called Mother she cought two mice it was really funny!

I love holidays,and this one was probably the best because my BFF: Nancy came over to my house and we painted our nails together!It's really cool that I got to go to Botany and go on the bunjy trampolines!The bunjy was $10 each! I did two backward summersaults in one bounce and one foward summersault in another!I probably went on the bunjy trampolines more than five times throughout the holidays!I also got to go on my Dad's friend's boat and I got to drive the boat for a little while and it was funny because the boat said:'smurfs up!'It had a picture of a smurf riding on a surf board to.I had a really fun holiday and a really fun time telling you about it.

Gala Day.
At the school Gala I performed the Money dance with all the other people in the Dance Festival.I also lost 20 dollars and I only got to go on the Hot Rods with my friend Nancy and we crashed into a few people.I went to the White Elephant with my Dad and he bought himself a speaker cabinet and I got one pair of white sneakers and a nice 3D picture that said:'Doll Shoppe".I also wanted to go on the terminator it looked really fun but I wasn't aloud.While we were practicing for the Dance one of the other Dancers punched me in the nose with his elbow by accident and my nose bled.It felt like there was a big dent in my nose and it really hurt.My nose nearly bled while I was performing!The Gala was really fun,and I can't wait till next year's Gala.
